Dr. Kate’s philosophy is that dental care should be as comfortable and low stress as possible. Treating everyone with warmth and genuine care is her priority. Dr. Kate is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, striving to stay up to date on the procedures she provides. Outside of the office, Dr. Kate spends time with her husband Tyler, and their son Liam. She enjoys fiction novels, local coffee shops, and being outdoors, a credit to being born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. Many weekends she can be spotted out on local hiking trails, browsing at the Kerrytown Farmers Market, and enjoying the local food scene. Dr. Kate looks forward to caring for your dental needs in our office.

Kendra is a proud graduate of Baker College of Auburn Hills, holding both an Associate degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration. Her passion lies in fostering connections with her patients, dedicating herself to attentive listening to ensure the delivery of exceptional care tailored to individual needs. Kendra values her time with the Willow River staff and actively contributes as a team player to ensure everyone experiences a seamless day. She extends her expertise to patients with a valuable dental care tip – the importance of daily flossing.

Outside the dental office, Kendra enjoys a variety of activities during her free time. Whether she’s engaging in a high-energy Peloton cycling session, exploring her favorite stores on a shopping spree, or indulging in delightful dining experiences, Kendra finds so much joy and fulfillment in these pursuits. Additionally, she cherishes moments spent with friends and family and has a deep love for travel, beach outings, and the summer season. Cleaning teeth brings her great satisfaction, and as a dedicated dental hygienist, Kendra is delighted to be an integral part of the team.

Diana, a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Michigan, cherishes the vibrant community of Ann Arbor. After several years on the West Coast, she has returned to work in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, a place she adores. Diana is committed to fostering positive and respectful relationships with her patients, always prioritizing their comfort and ensuring they feel heard and well cared for. Bringing joy and fun into her practice is also one of her key goals.

Residing in Ann Arbor, Diana shares her home with her husband, son, and their beloved German Shepherd, Manny. Together, they indulge in culinary adventures, both in the kitchen and by exploring new restaurants. Beyond her professional life, Diana is passionate about reading, reveling in the outdoors, and cherishing time spent with friends, all of which contribute to her well-rounded and fulfilling life.

Dallas, an accomplished Dental Assistant at Willow River Dental, combines a solid educational background with a dynamic professional history. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in allied health and a minor in Chemistry, he is a proud member of the National Biological Honor Society, Tri-Beta. Currently, Dallas is enhancing his expertise by pursuing a Certified Dental Business Professional (CDBP) certification through the Michigan Dental Association. His experience spans several dental practices across the East Coast, including North Carolina, Virginia, and Michigan, bringing a diverse and adaptable skill set to his role as the Lead Dental Assistant.

Outside his professional life, Dallas dedicates time to managing a small farm with his wife Natalie, caring for a variety of animals including dogs, chickens, a rabbit, and guinea pigs. This commitment to both his career and personal life showcases Dallas’s holistic approach, balancing professional excellence with a passion for life and nature.

Jennie brings a unique blend of skills to our team with certifications as a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Nurse BSN, coupled with an Associate degree in Computer Science. Her professional journey includes diverse experiences at the University of Michigan Dental School in Pediatrics, Dr. Cooks DDS in Ypsilanti, MI, and various roles covering all dental specialties with Peak Performers Agency and NY Metropolitan Dental Associates. Deeply committed to community service, she actively participates in church food donations, Vacation Bible School, and oral health education.

In her role at Willow River Dental, Jennie is passionate about working with patients and the team, particularly enjoying the collaborative environment and her exploration of Invisalign. She takes pride in educating patients about oral health, providing compassionate care, and ensuring comfortable experiences for them. Driven by a positive and caring mindset, inspired by the Holy Spirit, Jennie’s philosophy is centered on effective communication and genuine care, making every dental visit a reassuring and stress-free experience.

Jess, our warm and resourceful Dental Receptionist at Willow River Dental, joined us in September 2023, bringing over two decades of experience from her previous role in an orthodontics practice. Her expertise in patient care and her friendly demeanor make her an invaluable part of our team. Married to her husband Jason since 2008, Jess shares a love for the outdoors with her husband and their two dogs, Mila and Teddy.

An avid camper and golfer, Jess relishes the time spent in nature, whether it’s on the green, by the lake, or camping in the great outdoors. Her enthusiasm for these activities is reflected in her approach at work, where she ensures a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient who walks through our doors.
